Knoxville Arthritis Walk (Fundraiser/Charity)

The Knoxville Arthritis Walk is a fun family and dog friendly event that raises funds and awareness for the over 46 million people living with arthritis, including 300,000 children. Please help us to prevent, control, and cure the over 100 different forms of arthritis.

FREE hair cuts for anyone who can't afford the salon. All stylists are TN state licensed cosmetologists from Eden salon & Spa. Begins Feb 16th and every 3rd Saturday thereafter. Snacks/coffee will be provided.

2nd Annual Dog Days of Summer Animal Fun Run/Walk benefiting ARFNets (Animal Rescue and Fostering Networks)! (Fundraiser/Charity)

Location: Greenbelt Park(behind courthouse) in Maryville

Bring your 4-legged friend and join ARFNets for the 2nd Annual Dog Days of Summer Animal Fun Run/Walk! You don't have to be a long distance runner to take part in the 2.5 mile run or walk around Greenbelt Park--you just have to have a love of animals! Each participant with a minimum donation of $25 ($20 if purchased by May 9th) will recieve a special edition Dog Days of Summer t-shirt, a pair of general admission TN Smokies tickets, and something special for their pet! We will also be going on our monthly group ride on Saturday May 17, 2008 to May Ride, Burgess Falls State Park Sparta Tn we will meet at the Second Baptist Church of Clinton Parking lot at 10:00 there is no cost for either ride except for the gasoline and any food purchases that will be made. Dutch Valley Elementary School in Anderson County is having its 50th anniversary. We are having a celebration on May 17th. We will have an auction, games, food, bingo, a petting zoo, volleyball, horseshoes, etc. We will be glad to accept any donations from local businesses.
