Performance Training, Inc. All Sports Camp (Youth)
Time: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Location: Fort Sanders Health and Fitness Center
Experience the fitness and fun of All Sports Camp, where campers explore a variety of sports and fitness opportunities that will keep them active and building healthy habits to last a lifetime. Instruction is taught at all skill levels while promoting self-confidence, balance, coordination, and teamwork.All Sports Camp is located at Fort Sanders Health and Fitness Center (FSHFC). Members of FSHFC will pay $130 for the week. Non-members will pay $160 for the week. Discounts are available for families with more than one child enrolled. Camp is held Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (see dates below for registration). ETTAC takes used computers (Free Community Service)
Time: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: East Tennessee Technology Access Center
If you bought a new computer system during Tennessee’s tax free holiday and want to know where to drop off your old computer, the East Tennessee Technology Access Center will accept Pentium IV computers or better. All computers must be in good working condition. ETTAC is a regional nonprofit agency that helps people with disabilities. The staff adapts computers with specialized software and hardware that are then loaned to clients to enable them to learn, work and to become more productive. All donations are tax deductible. Computers can be dropped off at their Knoxville office located at 4918 North Broadway. You may also call (865) 219-0130 to possibly arrange to have it picked up, but we cannot guarantee in all cases that we can do this.

M&M Studies for Women (Ladies Fellowship)

Wanted: Teens with disabilities (Help techies adapt toys)
Time: 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Location: East Tennessee Technology Access Center
WANTED: the East Tennessee Technology Access Center is looking for teenagers with disabilities who would like to participate in the development of adapted toys, robots, and possibly even X-Box controllers. They will be working with a group of designers and super-duper techies at ETTAC’s Knoxville office, 4918 N. Broadway for one or two afternoons the week of July 12. Students must be able to communicate with the Electronic-Techies about the toys, trucks, robots, and electronic games they need help playing with. The Well for Single Mom's (Ladies Fellowship)
Time: 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Location: First Baptist Church Concord
Single Moms -- THE WELL is a once monthly time for Single Moms from our community to gather together to fellowship, make new friends, laugh, relax and hear how wonderful it is to fall in love with Jesus. Kim, a former single mom, presents her testimony, experience and God’s will for our lives through truthful, heartfelt Biblical teaching. We provide dinner for both mom and children and childcare at no cost. Please join us on September 24th at THE WELL. Dinner and childcare for the children begins at 6:00pm. Fountain City Town Hall (Community Event)
Time: 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Location: Church of the Good Shepherd, Knoxville
Fountain City Town Hall will meet at on September 13th at 7 PM for its first general meeting since May. Fountain City Town Hall meets at Church of the Good Shepherd, located at 5337 Jacksboro Pike. The guest speaker will be Officer Craig McNew who will speak about properly disposing of prescription drugs. People attending the meeting are more than welcome to bring in their old or unused medications, and Officer McNew will properly dispose of them.
