Kent Stephens began his radio career at a Harriman gospel music station at age thirteen. Kent attended Roane County High School and graduated from The University of Tennessee with a degree in Broadcasting at the College of Communications. In addition, he was a Student Trainer for the Vol Football team. Kent began working at WIVK during his senior year in 1988. He continued until the mid-1990’s, when he relocated to Manhattan. For the next eight years, Kent consulted radio station sellers and programmers in New York City and throughout New England. In 2003, Kent came home to East Tennessee and is thrilled to be back at WIVK!
