Hollywood Howard

Hollywood originally hails from Southern California and grew up in the capital city of Austin in the great state of Texas (Hook'em Horns).  During his formative years in the LoneStar State, Hollywood cultivated his love of country music from Waylon & Willie to the Georges (both Jones and Strait) and everyone in between.  In the 80’s Hollywood abandoned his super fly pants for a pair of bermuda  shorts and returned to California to attend Pepperdine University where his love for radio flourished at KMBU-FM in Malibu.  Between skating, trips to Utah and various fraternal activities, Hollywood could always be found at the radio station and sometimes he even went to class.  After college, Hollywood spent time as a used car salesman, cook, bartender, actor, singer, songwriter and was even a rodeo clown for a couple of months.  However he always came back to radio.  In the late 90’s, Hollywood flew across the country and wound up in Tennessee, where he settled down, got married and now spends his time as a happy husband and father of 3 wonderful kids.  Hollywood loves Tennessee and roots for the Titans (but still loves the Cowboys).  He also roots for the Vols (but still loves the Horns) and is very happy to be a part of the legendary WIVK family!
