Luke Bryan has the golden touch.

The two-time defending CMA Entertainer of the Year notched his 16th Billboard Country Airplay No. 1 song with “Move,” the fifth single from his Kill the Lights album to reach No. 1.

Luke, who reached the quintuple No. 1 milestone with his previous album, Crash My Party, is now the only artist in the 26-year history of the chart to score five No. 1 hits on two different albums.

Only two other artists have earned five Billboard Country Airplay No. 1s on a single album: Blake Shelton (Based on a True Story) and Brad Paisley’s (5th Gear).

“We celebrated ‘Move’ being No. 1 last night (Oct. 30), and it’s amazing,” says Luke to Nash Country Daily. “I’ll always gravitate to songs that get people up and having fun with a lot of energy. I’m certainly honored by ‘Move’ going No. 1 and it’s been a fun single to do out on the road.”

Kill the Lights featured 13 tracks, so Luke and his team have eight more songs to pick from for his next single.

“I don’t have [the next single] picked yet, but we’re thinking about it right now,” says Luke.

Stay tuned. And tune in to the 50th annual CMA Awards on Nov. 2 to see Luke perform.
