Watch Brett Young Make His National TV Debut With Performance of His No.1 Hit, “Sleep Without You”

There may be a blizzard hitting New York City this morning (Feb. 9) but that didn’t stop newcomer Brett Young from making his national TV debut on the Today Show. As the snow fell down on the streets of New York, the California native performed his No. 1 hit, “Sleep Without You,” during the show’s fourth hour.

Brett’s breakout single, which ascended to the top of charts in November 2016, is the lead track from his self-titled debut album, set to drop tomorrow (Feb. 10). Brett’s second single, “In Case You Didn’t Know,” was released on Jan 9.

The newcomer took a minute to chat with hosts Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford about getting his first No. 1 single. “It took a couple of weeks for it to even really sink in,” Brett shared with the hosts before his performance. “It was really really an honor and a cool experience.”

That’s one cool experience Brett can take off his bucket list. Check him out on the Today Show.
