BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – No. 25/19 Tennessee softball sophomore Kiki Milloy was named the SEC Player of the Week after helping the Lady Vols to an undefeated weekend at the Reveille Classic in College Station, Texas, the conference announced on Monday.
Milloy finished the five-game slate tied for a team-best .615 hitting clip, including two games where she batted 1.000.
The Woodinville, Wash., native opened the tournament against Campbell with a career day, recording two homers and five RBI, both personal bests. Milloy also added four runs, which tied for second in program history and was last accomplished by a Lady Vol in 2016.
In total, the slugger recorded eight hits, eight runs and eight RBIs through the tournament. She added five walks and three stolen bases to the ledger.
Currently leading the Lady Vols with 10 home runs, Milloy’s mark ranks second in the SEC and fifth in the nation. She also paces the league with 12 stolen bases, along with Auburn’s Elissa Brown.
The recognition is the first for Milloy and the second weekly honor this season for the Lady Vols with junior Ashley Rogers being named Pitcher of the Week on March 1. The last time Tennessee picked up a Player of the Week nod was in 2019 when Cailin Hannon was tabbed on April 30.
The Lady Vols open a six-game homestand on Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET against Austin Peay State. UT is currently on a 12-game win streak.
