Michael Ray recently topped the Billboard airplay chart with his song âWhiskey And Rain.â
Now heâs ready to follow that one up with another song from his 2021 EP Higher EducationâŠ
âHoly Waterâ is Michael Rayâs new single at country radioâŠ
Talking about the track, Michael says ââHoly waterâ is the song that Iâm made sure I had on this EP. I wanted something that was swamp feel Florida. It references this little white church â Cassia Baptist Church â thatâs in my hometown that my great great grandfather helped build, my dad was a pastor at this church, and rumor has it my grandmother and my grandfather ran moonshine, so itâs a little tip of the hat to the old Bonnie and Clyde of my family.â
Michael went back to his family church and his hometown of Eustis, Florida to film the music video for âHoly Waterâ â which is out nowâŠ
