An Investigation is Underway after Two Knoxville Police Officers are Reportedly Shot at While on Patrol

An investigation is underway after two Knoxville Police officers are shot at while patrolling the city.

KPD says the reported shooting happened last night as the two officers, in full uniform, were patrolling in an unmarked cruiser near the Beaumont Avenue and McSpadden Street intersection when a heavy-set man with dreadlocks shot at them from a maroon car.

Neither of the officers were hit by the shots.
