Sevierville, TN (WOKI) All aboard! Though there’s no date available yet, engineers are working to get a beloved Dollywood favorite back on the tracks.

The Dollywood Express derailed at the beginning of October; now, engineers are working to get the train back up and running.

Park officials say a switch track on the train’s path suffered a mechanical issue on October 1st causing the train to derail. No one was hurt, and guests were evacuated from the cars.

They say a specialized part is being manufactured for the track, and that the part, once installed, will be tested before the train returns to service.
