Knoxville, TN (WOKI) The Carl Cowan Park splashpad on Northshore Drive has been closed for maintenance.
Knox County representatives making the announcement Monday, July 1 encourage you to visit the county’s other splashpad locations in the meantime.
“We still have other splashpad locations you can visit in the meantime!” county representatives said. “Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to keep our community parks safe and functional.”
For other options, the county recommended people try:
- New Harvest Park at 4775 New Harvest Lane
- Powell Station Park at 2318 W. Emory Road
County Parks & Recreation crews say they hope to have Carl Cowan’s splashpad back open for Thursday’s Independence Day holiday.
