Police Arrest Wanted Man after Complaint of Sleeping in His Car, Kingston Police Say

Kingston, TN (WOKI) A man is arrested after he was found sleeping in his 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air in the parking lot of a Weigel’s.

The Kingston Police Department says they received a complaint about the man at the Gallaher Road store.

They found Timothy Wright, “slumped over in the driver seat.”

Police say his license was suspended and there was a warrant out for his arrest for violation of probation.

They found a baggy that they believed had more than 14 grams of methamphetamine.

Wright was arrested and charged with violation of probation, driving on a suspended license, manufacture, deliver and sale of a controlled substance and driving while in possession of methamphetamine.
