Teens Arrested at a Walmart on Multiple Charges Including Drug, Theft, Various Endangerment and Carjacking

(Knox County, TN WOKI/KCSO) Detectives with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office Juvenile, Narcotics, and Organized Retail Crime Units, along with KCSO’s Aviation Unit, successfully apprehended a 17-year-old juvenile (primary suspect) who was wanted on numerous outstanding charges with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office and the Knoxville Police Department.

Detectives also arrested a second adult male with an outstanding charge, plus additional charges stemming from today’s incident. Today’s (Monday) arrest occurred at the Walmart on Kinzel Way in east Knoxville. Both armed suspects attempted to flee unsuccessfully from Detectives and were apprehended without further incident or injury.

The Juvenile suspect will also face the listed additional charges from today’s (Monday) arrest. The investigation is active and ongoing- further charges are possible. We thank the Knoxville Police Department for their assistance during this investigation.
