UPDATE: Blount County, TN (WOKI) – The Blount County Sheriff’s Office says 56-year-old Johnny Wilburn has been charged with three counts of criminal homicide.
The preliminary results of the autopsies are consistent with homicide as the manner of death for all three victims.
The fire broke out Sunday night on Payne Hollow Road and the sheriff says the three bodies were recovered Monday morning.
WVLT spoke to family members who say Norma, Delmar, and Cas Farley were the victims found in the house.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
Original Story: An investigation is underway in Blount County after three people are found dead after authorities are called to a house fire.
The Blount County Sheriff’s Office says it’s not yet known how Sunday night’s house fire on Payne Hollow Road started or how the family died.
Family members tell WVLT that Norma, Delmar, and Cas Farley were found dead in the home.
Family and friends remembering them for their kindness and say they were very involved in their church in Walland.
Cook said they were three people who were heavily involved in their church in Walland.
It’s a loss felt by neighbors as well, who said it was a family that everyone in the area seemed to know.
