Knoxville, TN (WOKI) The man at the center of a high speed chase and shootout with Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers earlier this month is identified.
According to court records, 31-year-old Eugenio Abraham Solis Klarks faces charges of Evading Arrest and Flight with a Vehicle and is currently being held for Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE).
Court records show Klarks fired upon troopers the night of January 12th after fleeing from a traffic stop in Lenoir City and subsequently crashing his vehicle on the I-40 entrance ramp on Watt Road in Knox County.
Troopers report that Klarks did not have a driver’s license and, instead, presented them with a Guatemalan Consular identification card before fleeing the scene and leading them on a high speed chase.
