Lenoir City, TN (WOKI) We’re learning more about the events surrounding a fatal shooting last week in Lenoir City.
Ashley Sharp is facing a first-degree murder charge, while another man — Vincent Ellis — has been charged with accessory after the fact in the death of 38-year-old Eric Matthew Leach who was found by police dead on Taylor Drive.
An arrest warrant for Sharp reveals that a witness told deputies that Leach and Ellis had gotten into a fight the evening of January 18 and Sharp approached, shooting Leach in the face.
From there, the warrant indicates, Sharp and Ellis left the scene in a black SUV, prompting an overnight search before they were both taken into custody in Knox County.
