New Video Could Be a Break in the Case in a Missing Autistic Hendersonville Teen

A private investigator hired by the mother of missing Hendersonville teen says that a new video could help break the case in the continued search for Sebastian Rogers.

The teen with autism went missing from his mother’s home on February 26 of last year and hasn’t been seen since.

Investigator Steve Fischer says a new video shows, if you look closely, there’s a person in dark clothing walking in Sebastian’s neighborhood on the night he disappeared.

He says that person appears to hide behind a car when someone walks a dog nearby and then the person takes off in the opposite direction.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has a copy of this video and now the question is, does law enforcement know who this individual is?  Sumner County Sheriff’s Office has had possession of the original video since 72 hours after Sebastian was reported missing and they say after thoroughly investigating this lead, they determined that it has no relevance to the case.

There’s still an active AMBER Alert for Sebastian and a $50k reward is being offered for information leading to his recovery.

Hundreds of hours have been poured into finding him, including, ground searches, drone mapping, use of scent dogs and scouring surveillance video.

So, what’s next? The private investigator says that waterways will be searched using underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) with high-definition cameras.

Anyone with information should call 1-800-TBI-FIND.
