Hamblen County, TN (WOKI) An investigation is underway by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation following allegations of a Hamblen County corrections officer assaulting an inmate.
TBI officials confirming Friday the alleged incident happened in February but did not provide any details about the allegations or the officer as the investigation is active and ongoing.
The Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office has not provided a statement, referring all questions to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
