Missing North Carolina Teen Spotted in East Tennessee Found Safe in Missouri, Police Say

Kill Devil Hills, NC (WOKI) UPDATE 3/17: A missing North Carolina teen at the center of a search over the weekend in East Tennessee has now been found.

Authorities in North Carolina were searching for 16 year-old Christian Jenkins whose truck was last seen in Harriman Sunday afternoon; according to police, Jenkins had left his home in Devil Hills, North Carolina on Saturday just after 3:00 p.m. in a brown truck with his dog.

Officials with the Kill Devil Hills Police Department say Jenkins, along with his dog and truck, was found Monday, March 17 safe in Missouri around 12:30 p.m.

ORIGINAL STORY: A missing North Carolina teen may be in East Tennessee.

Authorities in North Carolina are searching for 16 year-old Christian Jenkins whose truck was last seen in Harriman yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.

According to Police he left his home in Devil Hills, North Carolina on Saturday just after 3 p.m. in a brown truck with his dog.

He is 5′11″ tall and 120 pounds with blonde hair, blue eyes and dental braces. He was last seen wearing khaki pants and a green t-shirt.

He’s driving, a brown 2006 Ford F-350 with NC registration VA7196, was spotted in Haywood County, North Carolina at around 10:45 a.m. and again in Harriman at around 4:15 p.m.
