Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and Monroe County Officials are investigating a fatal house fire which leaves two people dead.
Crews were called to the 700 block of Hawkins Road in Sweetwater late Saturday night and officials were told that two people were trapped inside.
Family members told deputies that they were unaccounted for and their remains were found after the fire was put out and taken to the Regional Forensic Center for identification.
Multiple fire departments responded to the scene and spent most of the night battling the fire.
