The Knoxville Police officer arrested on federal charges involving the production of child pornography is set to appear in court today for a detention hearing.
47 year-old Officer Dan Roark was arrested Monday and is being held in the Blount County jail following an investigation which found the mother of the victim was taking pictures of her then 5 year-old daughter and sending them to Roark with him paying up to $200 for the photos.
The mother was arrested in her home in Virginia.
