Loudon County School Placed on Lockdown as Sheriff’s Office Searches for Wanted Man

Philadelphia, TN (WOKI) Deputies with the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a wanted man in Philadelphia, Tennessee.

LCSO officials say Thomas Fortune is on foot in the area of Pond Creek Road and McCrary Street.

They say Fortune is white and was last seen shirtless and wearing black pants. Officials add that a K-9 Unit has been brought in to help find Fortune and that Philadelphia Elementary School was placed on lockdown as a precaution.

Fortune is wanted on several charges, including felony evading arrest, driving on a revoked license, two counts of violation of probation, failure to appear and speed limit violation.
