Union County, TN (WOKI) A former Union County Clerk’s Office employee is now facing more charges following an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
The TBI’s case centers on 38-year-old Whitney Goins who investigators say was already facing theft charges for using other people’s credit cards, which she got while working at the office.
TBI officials Wednesday announcing investigators had found Goins had also bought things using two bank accounts which were not hers.
She was charged with two counts of official misconduct and theft, and her bond was raised from $2,500 to $100,000.
