I’m a Midwest kid who grew up with a dream to be on the radio. That dream brought me to Knoxville in the early 2000s where I spent nearly 15 years on the air. During that time I met my wife, Jhasta, a Farragut graduate, and we had two amazing boys, Johnston and Marvin. My career adventures brought our family to Sacramento, CA for a new job in Country radio, and then on to Indianapolis. Now, we’re back home on Rocky Top where we are closer to family and ready to settle in for all that East Tennessee offers! I couldn’t be prouder to represent the legendary WIVK and rep the orange and white on the flagship station for the Vols!
Nancy Barger
A true Knoxville native, Nancy graduated from Bearden High School Class in 1997. She and her husband, Matt, are local business owners. Nancy is a 2018 graduate of Leadership Knoxville, 2016 Introduction Knoxville class, two-time chair of the Go Red for Women campaign for the American Heart Association, on the board for The Development Corporation of Knoxville, on the board for The Bearden High School Foundation, a Commissioner with Knoxville/Knox County Planning Commission, and volunteers her time for multiple charities in the Knoxville area. She has a true passion for this community! Getting into radio was a bit of a fluke. She has always loved country music and agreed to help a friend by filling in for a morning. The laughter was contagious and a personality she never realized was hidden came out. Filling in became regular and the rest is history! She is married to her best friend and fellow Cubs fanatic, Matt Barger, and they share 4 awesome kiddos and 2 precious puppy dogs!
